About Us

The Bardhaman Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (BOGS) is one of the founder societies of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI). Established in 2002, the Society has grown into a respected professional organization with a membership of around 120 obstetricians and gynaecologists.
BOGS is committed to advancing maternal and child health, safe motherhood, reproductive health, and family welfare through professional excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous medical education. The Society also plays an active role in teaching, training, and mentoring postgraduate students, junior doctors, and healthcare professionals, contributing to the development of the next generation of medical practitioners.Over the years, the Society has made significant contributions to the field of obstetrics and gynaecology, promoting evidence-based medical practice, professional development, and awareness of women’s and children’s health.
